AMI Group introduces Sovereign Australian product and offers Primes pathway to innovative international suppliers
Unique problem solving is often required given the conditions faced by Naval Defence assets. Whether it is creating a custom desalination solution for the Collins Class Fleet, or bespoke switchroom design for wave piercing catamarans, the Group has the knowledge base and capability trusted to ensure continued operational effectiveness.
At this year's Pacific Exposition, visitors to AMI Group stand 4D17 can view various proprietary equipment, including HYDRA electronically synchronised steering and Decktalk Connect adaptive digital-analogue communication, both AMI designs suited to defence, OPV and commercial vessels.
Established in 1986, AMI Sales, a member of the AMI Group has been involved in custom design projects, through to supporting allied international defence vessels with service works while berthed at local and international ports. Strengthened by other business units within the Group, customers benefit from complete in house project management.
Few Australian SMEs can offer both in house R&D, engineering and production, with a local service network reaching from Perth to Vietnam. Cairns based i.Power Solutions who recently joined the Group, will also be present at the show, offering proprietary expertise across transportable power generation and distribution.
Al Marakeb's MAP Technology will also be displayed on the AMI Group stand, featuring their proprietary command and control portable USV ground control station. Al Marakeb design and manufacture a range of integration technology to convert almost any vessel into an unmanned craft. Mission flexible USV for security and surveillance or reconnaissance operations are also available.
